Privacy Policy

For a free reading, you choose a group and member, enter three words that describe you, and can optionally add a first name or nickname, your MBTI, and your birthday as month and day only. We never ask for your birth year, birth time, or full date of birth. You can optionally leave feedback (a rating and comment).

If you buy a Director's Cut, you enter your email addressso you get a receipt and we can match your payment to your reading. Card or wallet details are entered on our payment partner's checkout, not on BIAS. We never see or store your card number.

To make your result link work, we store the generated reading with the group, member, your three words, the scenario, the name you entered (if any), the language, and which of our links brought you to BIAS (for example, our Threads profile). Feedback is stored with your reading's ID.

For purchases, we store your email, order and payment IDs, payment status, amount, currency, and the time you confirmed the purchase terms.

Your birthday and MBTI are not storedon our servers. They are used to generate your reading, then discarded. If you unlock the Director's Cut in the same browser tab, the tab sends them once more to write it — they stay only in that tab and disappear when you close it. We don't collect phone numbers, precise location, or account credentials.

We also keep an anonymous visit logto count visits: a random browser ID (not linked to your name, email, or reading), the page you opened, the domain of the site that sent you, and whether the visit looks like a bot. We don't store IP addresses.

OpenAI (United States) generates readings from your inputs through its API. Vercel (United States) hosts the site and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics. Supabase stores readings and orders in its Seoul, South Korea region. Dodo Paymentssells the Director's Cut as our merchant of record and processes payment, billing country, postal code, name, and email under its own privacy policy. Email sent to our contact address is forwarded through our domain provider.

Sending your inputs to OpenAI and Vercel, and purchase details to Dodo Payments, means that data is transferred outside South Korea over encrypted connections at the moment you generate a reading or pay. These providers keep it only as their service terms allow.

Every reading gets a private, unguessable link. Anyone you share it with can view the free reading, including the name you entered. Link previews show only the member's name and "you" — never your name.

The Director's Cut is visible only in the browser you bought it in (an access key is saved there). People you share the link with see the free reading, not your Director's Cut.

We use only functional storage: your language choice, which of our links brought you here (kept 30 days), the access key for a Director's Cut you bought, and a random browser ID for counting visits. Analytics use no cookies. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profiles.

Readings are kept so share links keep working, until you ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept for as long as consumer-protection law requires us to keep transaction records (in South Korea, up to five years), then deleted. The anonymous visit log is deleted after 13 months.

BIAS is not directed at children under 14. If you're under 14, please don't enter your name. If you're a minor where you live, ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.
